Biography

Senior Lecturer in People Management at Salford Business School with an interest in Organisational Development/Change Management. My PhD followed the first cohort of NHS Darzi Fellows leading change projects on a bespoke Leadership Development programme. Substantial leadership and management experience in industry (healthcare and pharma) building, merging and leading teams through change, and prior to that managing wards as a General Nurse.

Experienced E&S academic and SFHEA with sustained expertise in programme design, validation, accreditation, and quality assurance processes across all levels. Led redesign and CIPD re-accreditation of MSc Human Resource Management programme ensuring alignment with revised professional standards and increasing student recruitment.

At an institutional level, I chair and sit programme approval panels and have previously Joints Boards of Study with TNE partner institutions.

At school level, provided leadership and mentorship to business programme teams going through periodic review and supported the embedding of inclusive assessment practices throughout the school, contributing to improved student outcomes. I have supervised six doctoral students to completion, mentored new supervisors, and examined a number of doctoral theses.
